What really stands out is the technology. The video analysis and swing metrics take the guesswork out of practice. Instead of just hitting balls and hoping something clicks, you can actually see what’s happening in your swing and make real, measurable adjustments between reps. My coach has been patient, precise, and very structured in building a clear improvement plan. We’ve worked on ball flight control and cleaning up inconsistencies, and I’m already seeing progress both in practice and on the course. I also appreciate that they emphasize quality reps over volume — focused practice instead of just grinding through buckets of balls. The facility is clean, professional, and comfortable. Being able to train indoors with consistent feedback makes practice much more efficient. If I had one suggestion that would make the experience even more spectacular, it would be offering loyalty discounts or incentives for long-term GolfTEC loyal members who continue investing in lesson packages. For those of us committed to ongoing improvement, that kind of recognition would go a long way. Overall, if you’re serious about improving your golf game and want a systematic approach backed by real data, I highly recommend GOLFTEC Spring Valley. It’s been a game changer for me.

After a few lessons we did a club fitting for a new driver, between the lessons and the new driver, golf is fun now, just finished a club fitting for new irons, Lane is very good in going thru the head and shaft options.

I have taken more golf lessons than I can count on my hands and toes for at least five times I have never experienced a program such as that offered by GOLFTEC. It’s absolutely amazing and definitely exceptional. I cannot imagine any better way for a beginner to learn to play golf or to help an experience golfer get rid of his or her bad habits. I highly highly highly recommend just getting an assessment and taking one or two lessons at GOLFTEC. I’m sure you will become a fan like me. I assigned up for a year of golf lessons, which evidences how pleased I am with everything I am learning from Lane Stevens at GOLFTEC. It truly is a fun learning experience. I am so pleased with the GOLFTEC experience that I take my 11-year-old granddaughter there for lessons, and she loves it. As I already stated, I cannot think of a better way for a beginner to learn how to play golf or for an old duffer to get rid of his or her bad habits.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
