  If Wifi is free in the casino why am I charged for it in my room. Same with a bottle of water. Free in the casino but you charge me in my room. What a disappointment.

  The rooms are a bit run down. Still nice but need a refurbishment. I'm not a gambler but the casino is nice and modern. We only went to one restaurant, The Desert. It was average. My husband's prime rib was cold and tough the first time but was redone and was good. The fajitas special was tasty. The waitress was very nice and efficient. They had a live band on Saturday night in the casino. We did not see any shows so I cannot comment on that. The TV service was terrible. The channels kept going out and saying they were scrambled or weak signal.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Cactus Pete's The casino is so inviting, great slot machines .All staff members so nice and cocktail waitresses came by frequently. Larry Green my partner enjoyed black jack and the slots. The cafe offers a very good menu selection and good prices, decorated nicely . Love the rooms but didn't realize first night was at Buffalo, just terrible, stairs everywhere. Hard to find the elevator or cart .Ice machine broken on our floor. Coffee in room but no fridge or microwave. We are older and difficult to get baggage to room. None of this was explained to me but did realize I booked with Expedia, never again. Oh enjoyed your steak house, Ombience lovely, service superb. Best Caesar salad too. And Coupons you gave us were great too.We will be back. Katherine Rabello & Larry Green 3/30/26

  Horrible experience at the Horseshoe. Was told only "a couple" of steps to get inside, this was after explaining my husband has Parkinson and Dementia, "you will be fine". 7 steps up to front door and 5 steps after that inside. That was front desk manager. Smelled old and musty, drapes had moth holes in them. There was not a refrigerator, had medication that needed to be kept cold. And only one wall plug that worked and it was behind the heavy bed. Not a handicap friendly hotel. Will not be back again, after 24 years of spending time there. Cactus Pete's you think we are going to accept that as an option, you are out of your mind. Very poor business planning. Lipstick on a pig doesn't change the pig, really you forgot the lipstick!

  The service is excellent and everyone is very friendly, thank you Cactus Petes. The rooms are clean, the machines are great, everything seems great to him.
