His patience with me is great. I am an older golfer who has swung his club wrong for 50 years, Andrew is fixing it.

The “swing evaluation” was nothing more than a setup for the sales pitch for $4,300 worth of lessons and practice sessions. And as my luck would have it I just happened to be there on a “special promotion” for the $4,300. I actually thought I was going there to get a swing evaluation and to get some tips on how to make more consistent contact. I explained that I have been playing golf for years and I was a solid 10 handicap. When the sales pitch came I thought I was at a car dealership getting fleeced for unnecessary add ons. I didn’t go for a makeover I went to a tuneup. Oh well live and learn. Just wanted others to know what to expect.

Within a short time, Ivan helped me understand why the slice was happening and gave me simple, focused changes that actually worked. My drives are now straighter, more consistent, and I’ve even gained noticeable distance. What really impressed me is how much my entire game improved—not just the driver. Thanks to Ivan’s coaching, I’m hitting all my clubs farther and making much better contact across the bag. The lessons are structured, easy to understand, and tailored specifically to my swing instead of being one-size-fits-all. Ivan is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping me improve every aspect of my game. If you’re serious about getting better at golf and want results you can see on the course, I highly recommend booking a lesson with him.

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
