Delilah is always with a smile greeting you at the entrance. Joshua is also nice handing out the recently washed clean warm very white towels. Jerrmy is young man who always arpund checking to see if you meed anything. The gym area has Very accessible machines and exercises equipment. There are plentiful amounts of weights and availability of equipment. Most members are polite and respectful. Most members clean the area before and after using it. Olímpica size pool with many lanes. Nice hot tub to wind down after a stressful day at the office. Great locker room showers with plenty of shampoos body wash and conditioner. The mirror offers lotion hair gel and even deodorant. They also have mouthwash and hand soap. The steam room is very good vacancy for about 10 people men only. The hot dry sauna is smaller and it is mixed men and women. I have gone to other gyms but THEY DIDN'T "WORK OUT". I wouldn't consider going elsewhere just to save a few bucks. I already lost a few pounds of fat and gain muscles. I feel more powerful. THANKS TO SPORTS AND WELLNESS GYM FOR HELPING ME STAY CONSISTENT
Been coming for over a year now and I love it! Midtown is my favorite location. The staff work hard to maintain cleanliness in the locker room. It is such a big space that I rarely feel like it’s packed. Most of the front desk staff are super friendly. Great gym

I go to Midtown Sports and Wellness Athletic Club primarily because of its convenience and overall value, and I think 4 stars is fair.
The facility is a bit older and not fancy, but it has everything you actually need: solid cardio equipment, free weights, machines, classes, and a pool. It’s functional rather than polished.
One of the best parts is the staff and trainers — many of them are genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which makes a big difference. The membership is affordable, and you also get access to the other Midtown clubs around Albuquerque, which adds a lot of value.
It’s conveniently located and easy to fit into a regular routine. If you’re looking for luxury, this may not be your place — but if you want a well-rounded gym that’s practical, accessible, and staffed by good people, it’s a solid option.

The Gym facilities and staff do not exist to serve the members, but only to lure in new ones, the unsuspecting. Once they have you signed up, you will be referred to corporate in Colorado with any and all concerns. There is zero responsibility or accountability with local management. Facilities are heavily aged and poorly maintained. The recent “facelift” was little more than a rearranging of equipment and a coat of paint. Men’s locker room and showers are especially bad, and you’ll never see it cleaned. Janitor uses the floor mop on the sinks and mirrors… I could go on and on…

Was a member here for about 4 years. Started out great but recently has been a huge disappointment. Equipment is frequently broken and not maintained. The staff at the front desk and personal trainers are nice, but the people in suits running the business area are rude and dismissive. It is extremely expensive for what it is. The final straw was when the business office could not get my credit card info loaded correctly and so they tried charging me fees. After the second attempt I asked to stop my membership. It took them a few weeks to get to my request? After my cancel date they still tried charging me, fees included. I was avoiding placing a bad review but charging me after I had cancelled forced me to. I hope they get bought out by a better company and get rid of all the poor management. Don’t sign up here. I am happy now at another gym down the road.
