  I played Cranbury Golf Club a few days ago and came away feeling pretty neutral about it overall. It’s a straightforward course that doesn’t try to be anything fancy, which I actually appreciated. The layout is easy to follow and mostly forgiving, but there are a few tighter holes that make you think a bit off the tee. Conditions were okay but not great. Fairways were playable, nothing special, and the greens were a little inconsistent. A few rolled true, others were a bit bumpy and slower than expected. Not terrible, just noticeable. Pace of play was a bit of a drag. The front nine moved fine, but things slowed down quite a bit on the back. We ended up waiting on several holes, which took some of the enjoyment out of the round. Staff interaction was minimal. Check-in was quick, but not especially friendly or welcoming. Facilities are pretty basic, and that matches the overall vibe of the place. In the end, it’s a decent spot if you’re nearby and just want to get a round in without spending much. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but I’d play it again if it was convenient.

  This course should pay you to play it. The conditions are atrocious, greens are garbage, and the starter is one of the most unapproachable human beings I’ve ever met. The only nice thing about this place is the lady in the pro shop, she was super nice. They should just turn this place into condos already.

  Left my rangefinder in the cart and called the pro shop within 15 mins of leaving the course. I had parked my cart in the return line, which was expected to be in queue for cleaning! I was told that my range finder was probably stolen or that the crew cleaning carts may have missed the item (Bright green rangefinder magnet attached to the front of the cart!!) in their routine cleaning and sent the cart back onto the course for the next golfer. Although it was me who left my item behind, I am disappointed with the lack of care to pursue a solution! I called 3 times and was continuously told "tough luck"
