This was my second season as one of the maintenance crew. I couldn't be there last season due to reasons beyond my control. If you were here this season, then you know me and I'll be back next year. This means you'll come back to a CG that has been taking care of with pride and have a great Season.

We love it here at Chestnut lake. We have been coming here for years. It is like reconnecting with family each year. This is a small camp, so it is easy to know other campers

I’ve been around enough RV parks to know when you’ve found the real deal, and this one is it, it’s a great park. The sites are easy to get into, everything’s kept up, and the amenities do the job. But what really makes it stand out is the crew running the place. They’re absolutely incredible. You can tell they actually care, and they go above and beyond without making a big deal about it.
There’s always something fun going on, but even when nothing’s happening, the vibe is just solid. I stayed here through the summer and honestly didn’t want to leave. I’m already planning on coming back the next time I’m in the area.
Bottom line: this park’s legit. Highly recommend it if you want a spot that feels easy, welcoming, and run by people who know how to do it right!

The office staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. A big thank you to Jean, Sara and Daisy. TT is lucky to have them as their employee. I hope the CEO recognizes their kindness and hospitality. Thanks for the treats for my little 17 year old Yorkie.

Great place to relax. Sometimes the bugs are a little much, but hey that's camping. All of the ladies that work at the front office are amazing and so friendly. The 1000 trails specialist Daisy is absolutely awesome. She's so fun to spend time with. They have varying size lots, and you can get ones that are all Sun or some that are in the shade. Just a nice little place.

Let me start by saying I have not been to all of the Thousand Trails NJ campgrounds yet but I have been to one that Thousand Trails would be smart to remove from under their umbrella and it's not Chestnut Lake. This place is a model for how a campground should be run. The office staff has always greeted me with a smile and courteous interactions. It was very enjoyable to come back here after a nightmare experience at Sea Pines. This group knows how to treat their campers. They maintenance staff is always doing real maintenance not just busy work. So far when management is aware of a problem with the facilities or an issue with other campers, the problems are always addressed and if able, rectified. If there was an award for how a campground should be run, this is it! Take notice ELS/Thousand trails and recognize thos magnificent staff/Campground. I just wanted to say too. That it was so nice that as soon as I pulled in, I was greeted with the utterly amazing happiness and shining positivity of Daisy, who is a membership specialist and an amazing ambassador of the company.
