Emailed asking what the quote of some brakes would be. They asked for model of bike about 8 hours later and I emailed them back almost immediately. Never got a response after that. Terrible communication. Waste of time.

Lovely little local bike shop with service you won't get elsewhere. Good selection of new and used bikes though we visited outside of the peak season. The guy was very knowledgeable and helped us pick a bike that suited our needs and price range. Then he adjusted everything to fit my son, had him do a test ride and got us on our way. We've been very happy with the bike and he's probably already got 40 miles on it 😂. Yesterday I brought the bike in as my son had managed to pop the valve stem off and they got us fixed up and out in 20 mins. Labor free because we bought the bike there within the last year and only paid $9 for the tube. I won't buy a bike from a big box store again!

The place was very spacious. They have a pretty good selection of bike parts. It's not expansive, but enough to get what you need and go. The staff was very nice. Drake was super helpful, patient, and answered every question I had! The prices are affordable, and the bike prices are also comparable to other "big name" places. Highly recommend it!

Sent the following email to the owner/manager at Bike Way after a bad experience having my bike serviced. Never heard back from them via mail or phone. Bike cost over 3K new and my service cost me approximately $180, including a low cost bike speedometer. Cannot recommend you get your bike serviced here...you can do better. Not sure how to attach pics but will do so if I figure that out. Chain was just as filthy when I picked it up as when I dropped it off. ===================================== Trevin I dropped off my bike for servicing at your shop on 10/4 and picked it up on 10/22. I usually do my own basic maintenance but the bike had never been "looked over" by a professional so I thought it was time. Had the bike about 5 years. When I dropped it off, I explained I wanted the drive train looked over among other things. I asked for a call before any work was done with an estimate. This part didn't go real smooth but not a big deal. After I picked up my bike and got it home, I inspected a few things, including my chain. I've attached pictures. I'm really dismayed and I drive back to let the guys there know about it. I explained that I couldn't believe how filthy the chain was after having it "serviced". The one guy there said I didn't specify that I wanted it done. Not true, I said I wanted the drive train looked over along with the general instruction of let me know what you think needs to be done. He then stated that your shop doesn't usually clean the chain...just check it for wear and replace it if necessary. What? I can think of a more basic maintenance item on the bike than the chain, unless it's tire pressure. Gunk on the chain leads to increased wear and certainly can't help shifting gears. If that's the quality of how you service bikes, then it certainly brings into question every other maintenance item that was done. One last thing, I ask for one of your better servicemen to work on it. Interested in hearing your reply.
