Terrible. AVOID this location
Less than an hour ago, I was walking around taking photos with my camera. I happened to be standing in the entryway of this location, and I captured some images of the high rise building being developed. This is the first time that I’ve seen the store open, and I wanted to browse. The manager, Mason, is at the front and is intentionally ignoring me as I’m trying to enter the location. Mind you, I just saw that he was looking at me take photos just seconds before. I knock multiple times, stand there for about 15 seconds before he finally stands up and unlocks the door.
“Can I help you,” he says, annoyingly. I tell him I work at a local news station and I just want to take a look around the store. Tells me to come in and doesn’t say a word. I ask his name, he gives it to me, I meander for a bit before asking “are you open to the public?” He replies: “Yes, but I keep the door locked to avoid stragglers.” I ask if he owns the store, says no, he’s the manager, I reply with an “mmph” and leave the store.
1) Why would you open up a retail location downtown Omaha if you don’t want the foot traffic?
2) Why am I being compared to a “straggler”?
3) Are all customers treated as if they’re a burden?
4) I’m holding a camera that’s worth over $5k, why am I not being treated with respect and as if I’m a shopper?
I could go on.
The experience was terrible, and I should not have been profiled as a “straggler”. I genuinely was curious about the store, wanted to learn more about the products and to evaluate a future decision on purchasing an e-bike. For future shoppers, AVOID this location.

We brought our Lectric e-bikes in for service at Pedego in downtown Omaha, and Mason and Mikayla were excellent to work with. Highly recommend!

Very nice tour around the riverfront in Omaha and Council Bluffs, with trips over the Kerry and Veteran Bridges. I enjoyed the loop back by the Zoo/Rosenblatt/Dingerville area and the Durham Museum. The bicycles were perfect for a leisurely 14 mile trip. Thanks!
