  Amazing layout!! Had a great time playing this course. Heard great things about it over the years and it certainly exceeded my expectations.

  Best staff out there, gorgeous course that is challenging but fun at the same time. Mike and Dwight were so cool, along with the entire staff being accommodating and helpful making the trip incredible.

  The Good: -Course is extremely unique and fun to get around. Every hole is something new to figure out with some visually stunning work with the pines, fairways and immense sand/bunker areas. -Play works best if you think your way through the routing by carefully studying the hole, picking a line and committing to the shot. Bomb and gougers would not be too happy here. -Rustic vibe all over the course is amazing. Very much no fuss golf forward. -Great proshop (logo is lit) and snack bar. The Not So Good: -$300+ green fee for so-so conditions. Some of it is understandable since the course design tends to funnel all shots towards the same area, so while the fairway might seem pristine off the tee, you show up to your shot and you'll be lucky not to be in a divot. This also included slow and furry greens. -Staff (except the young men and women working the cart barn, those folks were fantastic!) seemed to be annoyed and bothered we were golfing. Overall: I enjoyed playing the course and the experience, however the $300+ green fees for the conditions would make me hesitant to return in the future. Hence the 4 stars.

  Certainly a unique golf experience. The course has hole designs I have never experienced before. Not saying that is good or bad but don't expect a typical golf course layout. We were lucky and played with someone who had played the course before so they could at least try to explain what was going on with each hole and where to hit. Many blind shots as others have pointed out. 4 stars for me because of 1) golf mats at the range - and they were worn out even. They did not design the range to accommodate the amount of golfers the process thru there so there is not enough turf area to hit from. For the gazillion dollars per year they are collecting in greens fees they need to completely rebuild the range so you can hit off of turf. 2) the clubhouse certainly is not up to the standards one would expect at a $300+ golf course. Rustic is great if you are charging $150 a round but you are not. The snack bar is like something you would expect to see at a local muni course. We had turkey wraps that were pretty poor quality (they were only $8 so at least they are cheap) but again - paying $300+ for golf I would expect better food. My wife said the bathrooms on the course were pretty dismal also. I guess I had different expectations for the high price charged. This is the most I ever paid for a round of golf and I was surprised that the experience was not better. Staff on the course were great.
