I’ve improved my game (specifically distance and control) in a much shorter period of time than I expected…and that’s a direct result of Eric’s coaching. His teaching style is easy to understand, data-driven without being overwhelming, and always focused on practical improvement. He does a great job breaking things down and building confidence. If you’re serious about getting better at golf, I highly recommend GOLFTEC, especially taking lessons with Eric.

My initial goal was to fix the slice on my driver, and Jacob succeeded in that completely. Beyond that, I also saw several other improvements I hadn’t even expected when I started the lessons. Jacob’s approach struck a perfect balance. He’s incredibly kind, professional, and personable, making every lesson enjoyable. He always came prepared, and I left each lesson with clear takeaways to work on between sessions, which helped me maintain steady progress. What stood out most was how Jacob met me exactly where I was skill-wise. Despite any errant shanks or off shots, I never felt judged or pressured. It was clear he cared deeply about helping me improve, but equally important, he made sure I enjoyed the process without getting frustrated with myself, something I really appreciated. He also did a great job explaining the rationale behind his recommendations, even including some math when I asked for it. During club fittings and sales conversations, I didn’t feel any pressure or overselling, which was a concern I had going in. That honesty and respect went a long way. Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing.
