- DCDavid CFeb 23, 20265.0Been struggling with my game for years, so I finally decided to get professional lessons and real data on my swing. I’ve done 5 weekly 30-minute lessons so far (plus about 90 minutes of practice each week), and thanks to Andrew Lavely my swing is in the best place it’s ever been. I can finally trust my driver and focus on increasing speed for the first time. Andrew has completely changed my game - my grip, my setup and address, and the way I swing the club. I’m seeing tangible progress every week. GolfTec’s technology is amazing too. I’m a bit of a stats nerd, so it’s a dream for me, and I’m excited for my upcoming club fitting to see which clubs fit my swing best. Thanks again, Andrew. You’re an excellent coach and I really appreciate the care you put into every lesson.

What I realized was that I had a baseball swing that I had morphed into a passable golf swing, but there were so many variables each time I brought the club back. Jacob, along with the technology at Golftec, has helped me become aware of where I was doing too much and where I wasn't doing enough. He's helped me craft an actual golf swing and I feel so much more confident each time I step up to the ball. Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing.
