Played on 4/25. Showed up early to my 8:42am tee time to make sure I could get a warm up in on the range. Range is closed until 9... pretty frustrating to not be told this. I wouldnt have booked if i knew. The people working there dont care about your experience. I voiced my frustration to the range not being available on a saturday morning and was told to "go leave a review online". So here i am. Course is in awful shape, almost never get a good lie even in the fairway. There's a reason it's been a while since ive been back. Will never go back and will make sure to share my experience whenever I can. Funny to also call ahead, like they reccomend, to the clubhouse for food on the 8th hole so we could be quick at the turn just for it to go to voicemail. Just seems like nobody really cares over there. Weird experience all around.

Great course for beginners! I recently got into golf and have been coming here a good bit. The learners 9 is fantastic and the 18 is fun and not TOO challenging for a beginner. The staff has always been nice and it’s good to see they are constantly working on improving the courses since there’s some rough patches here and there. The prices are fair, but I wish they had a golf ball dispenser rather than them scooping balls from trash bin for the range. Either way, Would recommend if you’re just getting started with golf!

Had an awesome experience with Nate Tibbs at Sunset Golf. Not only did he give me a simple but game-changing golf tip that I was able to apply immediately, but the conversation was just as valuable. Nate is the kind of person you genuinely enjoy being around—knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and passionate about helping others improve. You can tell he really cares about the game and the people he’s working with. If you get the chance to connect with him, don’t miss it. Great coach, even better person.

Great course for a fast 9 or 18. Played 18 here on 4/7 and pace of play was quick. Tee time was 10:30 and the starter got us off about 15 minutes early. Made the turn at 12:20 and finished 18 by 2:30. 4 hour rounds are rare, so I was thankful for everyone keeping it moving, but we never felt rushed. We also didn't encounter any marshalls on the course, so this was entirely due to players being conscientious. There were some back-ups at the par 3's, but that is to be expected on any course. The course is clearly undergoing work in preparation for the start of summer, so many tee boxes were moved up, shortening holes and playing a role in the fact pace of play. The fairways were generally in good condition and the greens were very good. The range was open but limited to using mats, not an issue tbh. Price was very reasonable for the area. We didn't have anything from the snack bar, so I can't comment on it. The only thing that was less than ideal was the small practice putting green. Given that they have both a 9 and 18 hole course, it would be nice to have a single much larger one or a couple that are just a bit larger than the one next to the pro shop. There may be one by the 9 hole layout and I may have missed it as we drove in. Overall, good course, friendly staff, nice facilities, and pace of play was quick.
