  Was closed due to off season. The pier looks like it's about to fall into the Atlantic.

  We’re really looking forward to the upcoming fishing season at Avon Pier. We discovered the pier during the winter and still had an amazing time fighting the strong winds, watching the huge waves, and enjoying the park even in the cold. It turned into a fun family experience we didn’t expect. Even with the pier covered in ice and the freezing temperatures (my wife says it was the coldest she’s ever been just walking it 😄), we had a blast. Finding Avon Pier in the off-season made us even more excited to come back when the weather warms up and the fishing is in full swing.

  Looks like they changed the name of the Pier to clean out old reviews. (Bad reviews) If you plan on spending all day fishing then the pier may have a different appeal to you and if that's the case it might be exactly what you want. But if you're a tourist looking for a sight to see, this isn't it. You're going to pay $2 (2019) for the privilege to walk this pier, and its just that, a pier. Well its like a pier out of a Dr Seuss book, because its crooked and honestly very janky. Save your money take a photo of the pier from the beach and save your $2.
