I went to this place and told them I got my bike worked on at a different bike shop and that the bike shop messed it up more, these guys told me they knew what they were doing and would for sure be able to get the bike at least functioning properly and rolling without skipping is all I wanted from the purchase, I trusted the people because it’s at least a business chain bike shop that would maybe have some standards. These guys were all arrogant and were terrible at customer service from the beginning, they definitely acted smug because I had an “older frame from the early 2000’s” they told me with an attitude like they didn’t want to work on it or were too good for it. I paid for them to order multiple new parts including a brand new front derailer and rear derailer, I paid an extra around 80$ dollars for them to specifically not just install the parts but paid for the tuning and the bike to be tuned, when I got the bike it was skipping automatically in a way I knew wasn’t the cable needing to be broken in like I was told when picking the bike up.I took it back to these guys and the guy rode the bike around and felt it skip as if it has never actually had a test drive. He said ohh it’s just the cables breaking in and ignored me completely and started helping a customer and acted upset about me saying it was skipping. I left the shop and gave up on biking for a few months and finding someone to fix it. After stumbling on a couple of YouTube videos that explained how to tune and fine tune a front and rear derailleur I noticed that these guys did not tune or fine tune my front or back derailleur at all they literally just installed the parts tuned my brakes and didn’t even tune my derailers one bit essentially giving me the bike with the chain badly scraping my frame in the back damaging and cutting into my frame. When I called the manager just now after finding out whoever worked on my bike didn’t tune it at all and ripped me off for the 80 tuning, the manager basically told me they are a small family and they are too and this is a direct quote from management “tight knit” to let me file a complaint on whoever worked on my bike. I also asked him how people are held accountable for doing there job correctly there and his response was also again “ we are a tight knit group” basically saying he didn’t care at all about me getting ripped off and frame damaged and he has the back of his “boys” this place is a disgrace or a bike shop, I would not recommend spending your money here or trusting these people with your bike unless your rich and have money to flush down the drain and waste. So yeah you may pay 80 dollars for a tuning and only get your brakes tuned because these guys either are too lazy to tune the rest of the bike or they just don’t know how to.
