We had the BEST experience taking coins and jewelry in to be appraised by Les and Mike! They took their time and explained alot to us. I feel so confident that they were fair and we really enjoyed chatting with them. Stevenson Rare Coins and Jewelry will be our go to place in the future! Ashley and Rick 🙂

If I could I would leave a negative 5 review. I went I. To sell 2 of my mothers gold bangles bracelets she had for years and wore all the time that my father bought for her and she left to me and I needed christmas shopping money and they told me they were not gold. I couldnt believe it they had no tarnish or visible wear after being worn for many years. I left and went to a jewlery store that buys gold and asked the buyer there and he told me they were definitely gold and that the clasp inside is probably what attracted the magnet because they use a very strong magnet. And they gave me 800.00 for them I was almost crying when I left the first store I had many things for them.to.look at but basically said I didn't have anything over value. They weren't even very nice about it. I had coins my father had collected for years and they said basically none of them were worth anything. Well I surely do t trust their word after the bracelet incident and I definitely would recommend not to go there ever they dont even know how to tell if something is gold or not they didn't even test it except with a magnet and I also had to pay for parking and drove an hour and a half to get there. I think probably any other place but this place would be a better place to go. I am taking my coins to Florida and will update again if I get good money for them also. Please go anywhere but this place they do t know what they are doing.

I have delt with precious metal dealers for 25 years. I have easy access to great people in the Chattanooga area. Great people very trustworthy. I’ve moved a few times and now I will only go see Les. I have to travel three hours now, but it’s very worth it. It almost brings me tears writing this review. He is so honest and looking out for my best interest and he educates me. A review won’t allow enough characters for me to explain but he did a really good thing for me. I don’t think there’s a better place that you could go to and he practically paid for my travel to get my business when I could have done this at home. If you want to sell a Sacajawea or a Bicentennial quarter Or any gold colored coin that’s worth exactly 1 dollar then don’t go there. Go buy soda pop and add a dime. If you ever see any review less than five stars pay no attention because they are trying to sell pocket change for more than a dollar. He will give you advice and I’ve learned a lot. Hands down worth the travel if you live within a days drive and he is located in the best city. Thank you so much and you’ve picked very good staff members. See you next time no matter where I live!
