  The smoke in this place is unbelievable. I do not understand in this day and age why smoking is permitted. With the smoke smell in this place i wouldn't eat here if the food was free.

  They refuse to clean your room during your stay. They use Covid as the excuse. There was no shampoo, or soap in my room when I checked in. They didn't want to fill it until I was checked out.. they need to get up to speed on reality. They don't have coffee in the lobby until 6am.. I asked and they didn't have a reason, the night shift probably was too lazy and would rather sleep while on shift.

  We stayed in the RV park. Very happy with utilities, site size, price and staff. My only disappointment was no fenced in dog park. The rear grassy area where the bench and picnic table are would be perfect.

  It wasn't too crowded and there were plenty of machines available. I lost fairly quick to begin with but left with a substantial gain. I also watched a number of others leave with smiles on the faces after hitting their own jackpots. A return visit will be in my future.

  Went to eat last night for valentines dinner. Planned to go to bourbons but upon arriving learned they upcharged for a v-day dinner @ $95 a person. Idk what part of the country they think this is but 100 bucks a head in Vicksburg, MS to eat is diabolical. So we settled on the heritage buffet…. That was the worst decision I have made all 2026. I didn’t know until I was paying that the buffet was upcharged for v-day as well @ $45 a person. After the $15 a person upcharge they still asked for a tip too. That is absurd for a bare minimum buffet. Nothing we ate was even remotely good. I picked over one plate and that’s it. This buffet is a $14.99 buffet, nothing more. Whoever came up with this business plan is a complete idiot. I will never spend another dollar at Ameristar. I would give 0/10 if possible
