  Dated and dull. App does not work,then goes to a 3rd party that doesn't have a clue when it comes to booking a room. If you call to speak to a live person they charge and even told us the pool area was open but upon arrival, signs everywhere says pool area closed and it was only a few hours later, so I doubt it just had closed because our room showed sand/dirt and no signs of it being opened recently so I didnt stay because no good restaurants and it looked like prepackaged food in vending machines

  Used be my favorite but they are not the least with their customers especially now they have gone to extreme to disrespect the US veterans by saying they're honoring them on a certain day but actually there's no benefit at all they're just screwing them over they don't care about their preferred customers about that out tonight but I'll tell a different story none of know anything or they're just wine because nobody wants to do anything to help a customer so disappointing and disrespectful marketing pen play Hollywood all disrespectful people that won't tell the truth or take responsibility for any of their scrubs

  It's been near seven years since my wife and I have been to Hollywood casino in tunica Ms. It was a Friday night around eight pm and the casino felt dead. Hardly any people weren't playing the slots machines and very few table games were slightly empty. There wasn't very many waitress wondering around like there used to be last time we were there but I took only two hundred dollars to play with and left with three hundred and fifty dollars. If I could have stayed on the slot machine I was playing called President's Winnings, that had a bonus wheel I might have gotten the jackpot. The slot machine was a penny slot machine and you had seven choices of bets on the screen and every money bill from a one dollar to a five hundred dollar amount and the object of the game was to match three of a kind, four of a kind and five of a kind kinda like poker. There was three bonus wheels that would let you go up the second screen if you got three of them and gave you a big wheel with different presidential money bills and then you got a another small wheel that ranges from 2X to 5X. I managed to get the bonus wheel ten times and almost hit the Grand section which would have given me $13,750.

  Shannon, Nina and Lisa are outstanding beverage servers, the morning staff at Celebrity Grill as well as the food there is fantastic, the casino floor slots are great, but my god it seems like the hotel experience from my last six stays have gone from nice and cozy to annoying as hell. Constant issues with AC and guest wifi not working. Just completed a two night visit yesterday. My initial room assigned to me was 367 and immediately before unpacking I checked the AC, and of course, it didn't work so I returned to check in and was kindly assigned another room. I think that when called upon to do repairs for rooms some of the maintenance crew members don't even bother doing the fixing task of the job. The ice machine on the 3rd floor again didn't work at all just like two weeks prior and the soda machines on floors 2, 3, 4 and 5 were out of service. What the hell is the point of making guests pay resort fees when the damn guest internet doesn't work in half the hotel rooms and the very basic amenities are not being maintained. My room was clean though. Very disappointed in the hotel aspect but everything else was top notch. I am really hoping for positive hotel changes to occur during my next visit in May, otherwise I will not be calling Hollywood Casino and Resort my home away from home anymore.

  The negatives: After Sam's Town closed we chose the Hollywood as our new home away from home. First 2 trips were wonderful with no room problems. Then, no WIFI, A/C and thermostats hanging off walls. Our most recent trip finished yesterday. Again, no WIFI our entire stay. Needless to say, our booked visit for the 22nd and 23rd of April is cancelled. We cannot stay in a room with no WIFI signal and being this was our 4th stay in 2 months with the same reported problem in four different rooms, we are evaluating a different casino hotel. Word is you may be closing and operating the way Sam's Town did before they closed. Again, no maintenance and no repair work being done. Non-working thermostats hanging from walls, non-working A/C, non-working WIFI yet make sure you charge your "resort" fee ok? Positives: Superb casino floor beverage service from Shannon, Nina and Lisa as well as really good food and great conversation with the Celebrity Grill staff. Outstanding action on the casino floor as well as good promotions offered daily. Hollywood can do far better. Very disappointed.
