  For a 1st time visitor...I would not recommend. Staff isnt friendly, more on the rude, blunt , and nonchalant side. Undisclosed they charge a $100 incidental fee, DO NOT have microwaves on the property nor do they allow outside delivery services to offset pricey restaurants . Our room was disgusting, lacking trash bags, and soap upon arrival. The floors where not cleaning with particles from previous guest. Sheets were stained! Lamps and certain light switches didnt work. Room appeared rushed for cleaning purposes . Showers were unsanitary (didnt use) and small with low water pressure in the face bowl making washing hands, face or teeth unaccommodating. Jacuzzi tub was missing pieces. Room had rust & mildew stains in and around showers as well. Even in non-smoking areas...hotel is smoke filled..unpleasurable for persons with allergens such as ourselves. Not really kid friendly...more so to accommodate adults primarily. Hotel has alot of rules & restrictions. It definitely was not more boom for our buckets. Overall disappointment besides the bellman Jake was nice & the guy that worked in the ice cream shop.

  OK, so I am on my honeymoon and My Husband and I when we first walked into the room. It was immaculate. We really enjoyed the view. We really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room so now let’s get into the reason why I dislike the room. The air conditioner was not working properly however, when I let the downstairs staff know overnight, they immediately sent someone up to fix the problem. My Internet would not let me cast my phone that problem still is not fixed also with us being in the room from Sunday until Tuesday with me being on my honeymoon, there was a need of our room to be serviced because we did not particularly leave the casino. We ate or decided to eat from the locations within the casino or the dine and locations within the casino. Please know My Husband and I do not gamble. We came to the to the casino stay strictly for honeymoon purposes, I went downstairs on a Tuesday to ask them if they could please service our room on Monday night the overnight staff let me know that they would be able to service my room because we were in need of towels and the trash to be emptied also we wanted the floor mopped when I went downstairs on Tuesday morning the morning staff instructed me that they would not be cleaning my room until the day before checkout so this left me and My Husband without clean towels we were in need of toilet paper and we also had to keep trash in our room from plates that we had not eaten because this room did not have a microwave where we could warm our food. The bed was very uncomfortable and I just feel like if I was an important person and I asked my room to be serviced. That would’ve been no hesitation so we will be sleeping in a room with no towels, no toilet paper and trash over spilling our trashcan because we have not reached the amount of days required to stay in a room before our room could get serviced. Needless to say I will never be returning to this hotel again again the view was beautiful in the morning time, but I won’t be paying that much money to stay at a hotel for a view where I can’t get my room service being honeymooners we wanted to just be able to stay and relax and just get a little service not to be over accommodating and they refuse to do so so this is the experience that I had upon my stay if I was able to I would definitely check out early and reside at another hotel maybe one preferably not inside of the casino because My Husband comes home often we come to Biloxi often but we do stay in the outside hotels out of the casino and we have been treated way better than the luxurious casino. Staff has treated us.

  I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Gold Nugget Hotel & Casino. The condition of the room was unacceptable and far below what anyone should expect from a hotel of this reputation. First, there was visible mold and mildew in the corner of the room, which immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and health. The vent door was not properly sealed, and there was a heavy buildup of dust throughout the room, suggesting it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. The balcony was absolutely disgusting, making it unusable. Inside the room, the actual pillows had visible stains, which was very disturbing. The desk was also damaged, adding to the overall worn and poorly maintained appearance of the room. The bathroom was no better. When turning on the shower, both the shower and bathtub faucet ran at the same time, making it difficult to use properly. On top of that, the lighting in the room was terrible, casting a strange orange tint that made everything look dull and unpleasant. Overall, the room felt poorly maintained, unsanitary, and in serious need of repair and proper housekeeping. I expected much better from Gold Nugget and hope management takes these issues seriously before more guests have the same experience.

  Beware that this hotel charges a separate resort fee of 19.99 per day in addition to the room fee. I normally stay at Beau Rivage, but friends wanted to stay at Golden Nugget. I, my friends and family stayed at this hotel. Upon my arrival I noticed a strong chemical odor throughout the Casino. The odor was very strong. And you have to go through the casino to get to the hotel check in desk. The same odor was present in my room and in all the rooms of my friends and family. I cut the airconditioner on to try to dissipate the odor. It took about 4 hours before the odor seemed to have gone away. However, once the air was cut off the odor came back. Anyone with existing breathing difficulties should not stay at this hotel. The chemical odor is overwhelming. The floors in the room were apparently cleaned with soap but not rinsed. Thus, with wet feet you could easily slip and fall. I had to go down to the reservation/customer service desk to ask for additional clean towels. They never came. I had to hunt down a housekeeping staff member myself. And she was nicer to me than the people were in customer service. I decided to stay a few days longer but I went to another hotel: A Holiday Inn Express. To my surprise, the folks there were much nicer and more professional than the folks at Golden Nugget. Also, there was no strong odor permeating the building. And the floors were not slippery when wet. I personally will not stay at Golden Nugget again.

  The rooms and bathrooms are for lack of a better word just plain bad, they are dated and not cleaned as well as they should be. The floors, walls and mirrors, not cleaned properly if at all. There are NO Refrigerators, there are Power Cords running from outlets that work because others don't work. Lamps, USB Ports on them, do not work are the lamps are broken or do not have bulbs. The showers lack pressure; the blow dryers are so caked with dirt film that we used a washcloth to hold the blow dryer to dry our hair. Mattresses are so uncomfortable! I liked playing here but for lack of attention to details and poor service of taking care of players is not to the quality that it should be. I acquired Chairman level (which is not easy) and I was told by the Casino Host that I did not qualify for a room on New Years Eve. I did not want the New Years Ball just a room after eating at Mortons, gambling and bringing in the New Year on the Casino floor as I did the previous year at Golden Nugget. After the Casino host told me I wasn't eligible; I told the casino host to remove me from any further BS they offer. I was getting $80 two times a week at that time. I decided from that time on I would go in and use up my free play only and then leave. The first week, I hit a Jackpot and finished out my free play and left. I have only gone in to finish out all other free play, food credit and take the money I win off of free play to another casino. It is your loss and another Casino's win since you have lost me as a weekly dedicated player.
