  We enjoyed our stay. Room was big and spacious. Beds were comfy. It has multiple outlets to plug in various electronics. Room had ironing board, iron, coffee machine/coffee/creamer & essentials and hair dryer. The casino was surprisingly not smoke filled. Very clean and enjoyable. Mathew Patrick's Sports Grille was delicious and affordable. I would definitely recommend.

  A stay with space, but little care. While the rooms are spacious, the experience quickly fell short. There was no housekeeping during our 3-night stay, and the room—including shelves—was unclean from the start. Despite being labeled non-smoking, the floor had a strong smoky smell, worsened by poor ventilation. Unfortunately, this wasn’t limited to the rooms—even the hotel’s restaurants had a heavy smoke-filled atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms feel dated and worn, and although the pool was open, the H2O lounge was closed, which reduced the overall experience.

  This is absolutely ridiculous no matter what time I come in this casino you can never get a bonus on any machine at any amount. The free play is garbage. I play at least two or three times a week and you only give me $15 in FreePlay. With me spending atleast two or $300 every time I come. I would never come back or recommend this casino to anyone

  Horrible service. Don’t come here. We usually gamble in Vegas but we were heading to Florida for vacation so I wanted to stop here and try it out. When we arrived we were not greeted by anyone. I went to the craps table and asked for a Red Bull but 2 hours went by and waitress never came back! That was the most disappointing part of this hotel. I asked front desk for a dental kit and it was never delivered. I called them and they said they were out. A heads up would’ve been nice. Only people that were nice were the dealers at the craps table. Other than that staff here is horrible. Was thinking about visiting their lake Charles location on the way back but I don’t know if I want to give them another try.

  This Security Guard (Joe)at the Golden Nugget likes to follow people around when he is off duty and harass people. Called the Golden Nugget several times to report him and they said that they can't do anything off the property. Went for a visit and he made rude comments, all because he was smoking dope in the parking lot. Another night he must have been just leaving there, as I was too, followed me around town. Today he pulled into a Circle K while I was there, this is how he acts, yelling rudely, then giving me the finger. Police called, nothing done. Is this how Golden Nugget operates? Do they condone this type of behavior from their employees? I have videos and pics of this behavior. It's awful. Found out that this Joe Kenney (Golden Nugget Security Guard) was arrested in Auguast 2025 for disorderly conduct by Ocean Springs Police Dept. Joe Kenny the Security Guard and his girlfriend Jennifer Gates harassing another couple as this Jennifer Gates went up to the couples vehicle and started punching the window and kicking the door, that incident was on camera around 3 or 4 years ago. Viewed and verified by Tony another Security Guard. This couple needs to be stopped before they end up harming any Golden Nugget customer.
