This review is for the hotel. Your experience will vary greatly depending on the room you get. The first room we got had a connecting room that sounded like they were in our room. We could hear every word they spoke, could hear everything when they used the bathroom... it was impossible to sleep. Luckily the next day we were able to get moved to a different room which at first seemed way better. However, at night there was a high pitched ringing sound coming from the vents that we could not get to stop. It sounded similar to when your ears ring. We had ear plugs and played rain sounds and it still disturbed out sleep. During the day this sound wasn't there, it only happened at night, which was very strange. This is an old building so not much sound proofing in between rooms, and old outdated bathrooms etc. This hotel is like a country club with dress codes for the restaurants, bar, lobby. The staff at the front were friendly. No fridge, or microwave. Didn't try any of the food as they were closed by the time we got back after our tournament. I would not stay here again when the quality of our sleep is important (athletic tournaments etc). It would probably be ok for a night of fun when you don't expect good quality sleep.

My friend and I came down for the weekend to explore the city. This is an older building but we did not have any issues. I read reviews about the AC which was fine the whole time. There were comments about dress code which was not a problem, as long as you are not in specific dining halls. Walking around the hotel you are fine to be in your everyday casual attire. The shower water temperature was not and issue either. It was the lowest cost hotel for this weekend and I am so glad we stayed. The staff was great and helpful. I felt very safe coming back at night and walking in the area during the day. The only note I can make is that it was very easy to hear our neighbors through the wall/conjoining room door but I would definitely stay here again!

I apologize for writing this review so late! The holidays got away with me.
I truly can’t express how amazing this facility and service were. Every person we crossed paths with made us feel welcome and taken care of. We also had the chance to experience a wide range of offerings during our stay, which made the visit even more memorable.

Stephanie, Joe, and Crystal were our primary points of contact during our stay. I worked closely with Stephanie for several months on event planning and with Crystal on room block reservations. Everyone was consistently responsive, attentive, and highly professional.
Beyond our main points of contact, the service across the hotel was outstanding. The restaurant teams provided exceptional service, the security guards were warm and welcoming, and hotel employees were always happy to help when we needed directions. The food at both restaurants was also fantastic.
If we ever get a chance to go back, we would go straight to this place in a heartbeat. Thank you again to everyone at the Missouri Athletic Club!
