The biggest thing they told us is to make sure that we got a convertible ones so that we could use it as a stroller as well. This has been a game changer. We’ve used it a handful of times for biking but almost every day as a stroller!! If I had bought it online, I would have not thought about this, and it would’ve mostly gone unused. But it’s a fantastic stroller! Of course we purchased it from REI, even though it was a little more expensive there. If we want there to be fantastic advice in the future, we need to support our local stores that help us out when we need it!

He happily took on the challenge of repairing the front forks and wheel of our Bike Friday tandem after a minor accident that bent both the forks and disc brakes. We were very fortunate that he had the bandwidth and skill to carry out this unusual repair. REI is lucky to have him.
