Not as impressed as I used to be. Casino seemed to be outdated and staff at the entrance did not seem to be happy for visitors. The app seemed to be out of sync with actual bonuses available which was disappointing for the long drive. Overall it was a disappointment.

$25 minimum black jack - 1 table You can play up up to 4 hands at once at table minimum. You can play other people side bets on their hands, as well as bet on top of other players main bet. 6 or 8 deck shoe games… did not look close Not hand shuffle. Double deck - 3 to 2 $50 minimum Plastic shoe game, in the high limit room 6 to 5 Blackjack - 2 tables $10 min and $15 min (both of the table minimums) No good side bets on black jack, all they have are the Trilex style side bets… none worth betting on. Baccarat $25 table minimum - $5,000 max No touch on 25$ table Only side bets, panda and dragon Baccarat $50 and $100 min tables All of your favorite side bets on the higher limits tables... heavenly, fortune, 3 card 7 7 ties 200 to 1 You can bet on top of other players side bets, only play the side bets if you want. Whole baccarat room 10+ tables Roulette 4 live dealer tables 0 and 00 games // only 2 green Roulette air spun, automatic, automated names available as well Full size poker room, real poker game. Inside of its own soundproof room , no extra nonsense casino noise. Bunch of carnival poker games, group games played on black jack style tables here as well. Dice craps A bunch of tables, they have bubble as well Full sports book Sports betting, with lounging sports viewing area. Absolutely no RV, no oversized vehicles, no box trucks. Lots of signs no parking that stuff. Massive parking lot not just sits empty... looking through the reviews looks like over 8 years ago, they used to allow parking that stuff. The gambling part of the casino is very small. Just one little strip of live dealer games and the high limit room with poker, baccarat, blackjack. Most of the building is the hotel, event center convention area, and a bunch of dining and shopping areas… outside of the gambling part of the building. Entire gambling area is probably the size of a JCpenny style store at a mall. Average casino, nothing special. Table maximums are incredibly low blackjack table max main bet $1,000, baccarat $5,000 max. Side bets are also capped lower maximum side bets than a lot of other casinos across the country.

I have stayed multiple times and have not been impressed or really pleased with the rooms. The service the first time was as expected, however I had a stay on Friday night that was poor from the get-go. The front desk clerk for the VIP check-in Friday night was exceptional; the issues were out of her hand. My issues are with the room readiness, cleanliness and bed. Rooms were promised to be ready by 4pm. I went to check-in at 5:15pm and my room was not ready until a few minutes after 6pm. The hotel manager (Robert?) got involved and his hands were understandable tied as far as the cleaning being done. However, he did not follow up, check on the room status or even bother to try and make any apology for the delay. Upon getting to my room, I did not immediately notice any issues. However, I later discovered the bed is probably what is considered 'Hotel King'. Definitely signs that Hollywood Casino/Hotel is being cheap. I would expect that from a Motel 6, not a hotel who is branding themselves as premier. The bed was small and mattress was not really comfortable. I also discovered hairs in the shower from previous customers. Who knows what else in the room was not properly cleaned in the room. Frankly, quite disgusting. I was told that the cleaning staff is short-handed. However, if you know you are short-handed and are being booked for a large event, management needs to bring in extra workers. The entire situation seems to be very poorly planned out and managed. The front desk clerks from Friday night and Saturday morning are the only salvageable aspect from the stay. Both were very pleasant and provided what they were able to. I was NOT the only customer who had these issues either.

We were forced to stay there for a hockey stay and play, the customer service was terrible, our bathtub did not drain, we did not have any body wash in the shower and requested twice to have it refilled, which never happened. For a 5-day stay, our room was never serviced with fresh towels or trash removal. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly difficult to deal with and really seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Would never choose to stay there again. Our daughter’s team did not make it to the playoffs, and we ended up having to pay for the whole stay, even though we didn’t know that until less than 24 hours before we were leaving (which apparently was their policy), so we were charged for the extra time. Very disappointing.

In town for USA national championships across the street, so location was great. Shuttle was a hassle to coordinate and driver originally told our players is would be 15 bucks per trip which was not the case. Rooms were pretty standard, shower was hot and decent water pressure. Internet barely worked all week which didn’t allow us to get any work done or watch film between games (couldn’t even gmail to load). Poor restaurant options and everything closed early, only thing decent was sports bar in the casino as long as you don’t mind the smell of smoke. Overall it was a good location, however we will never book here again.
