- BSBrian StevensNov 4, 20255.0GOLFTEC was a great option for me to establish a starting point for my golf game. Previously, I had tried golf lessons and left feeling like I didn’t have a roadmap to improve. This was not the case with the GOLFTEC process. At GOLFTEC they use some pretty amazing technology to analyze your swing in slow motion from multiple angles. The camera also can track movement at each major body joint. They look at the footage as you are hitting and can switch on different layers to see body rotation and the alignment of various body parts. They offer real-time feedback for improvement and roll It into a lesson to work at home with support from their app. This style of focused, data driven analysis really made it clear how to improve. The video of the swings makes the swing adjustment process more intuitive. Finally, I really enjoyed working on my golf game with instructor James Stitt. He really “met me where I am at” with my golf journey by taking my improvement seriously while also understanding golf is only one of many things that requires my focus right now. James was thorough in his instruction and overall great to work with!

I caved and purchased a 5 lesson pack thinking the technology and tools would be top notch but I got assigned a brand new coach that just showed me videos of my swing and compared it to a pro and told me to simply swing like the pro. No training aids, no real swing improvement training. Each week, I thought it would get better but never did. I could have watched YouTube videos and got the same results. Very disappointed.

Since I met with Rick, my game has improved significantly. I have dropped 5 strokes off my avg. score and I expect to drop even more! The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.

Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions.
