We had a 5-day wedding weekend at Camp Pinewood earlier this year and I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. Camp Pinewood was perfect for an event like ours. 100 out of our 155 wedding guests stayed onsite for the weekend and we did everything from field day events to canoe races and bonfires leading up to our wedding day. Camp staff were amazing at setting up and running activities like archery, rock climbing, boating and swimming. They were also so helpful in keeping the camp clean and organized throughout the weekend. We did run into a couple of logistical issues prior to the weekend starting but Mila and Kori were very receptive to our concerns and helped us work through everything. I cannot say enough good things about Camp Pinewood, the staff and hosting an event there!

Went for an end of year 5th grade trip. I helped chaperone and to start off the staff were all amazing! Super friendly and pleasant! A+ there.
The cabins were decent and what you would expect for a summer camp the bathrooms were also decent. The activities we did were middle of the road the rock wall was pry the highlight!
Now onto the food…I’m not one to complain and am not a fussy eater at all but I have no idea what was going on in that department…it was gross. One meal was a scoop of super nasty rice with a lil broccoli and some sort of meat in it. The parents along with the kids were mostly all complaining and dumping most of it in the trash the breakfast pizza was mostly doe with hardly any cheese or egg or sausage and also lacking. After being there mostly on an empty stomach is what brought the mood down and I was ready to get out of there ASAP in search of something to eat. For $150 a kid for less than 24 hours along with paying to be a chaperone to help the staff who would never be able to do it alone I just feel the meals should of been better this food was just terrible..the staff however I guess made up for it or I would say 3 stars..if you don’t know what they will be serving do yourself a favor and just pack a cooler I could never imagine being there with kids for any longer than we were with that kind of food.
