This north woods eco-tour experience is great for the entire family from 3 to 90 years young. We are close enough for a day trip, or stay locally and explore the famous Jordan Valley for memories that will last a lifetime. My Girlfriend and I did the winter guided raft tour down the Jordan River, and it was hands down one of the most unique outdoor excursions I’ve ever done. The weather was cold but we bundled up enough. If I were to recommend one thing, it would be toe/boot warmers during the winter times. The 90-minute float was the perfect length—relaxing, scenic, and never rushed. Floating through the snow-covered trees and quiet winter scenery felt incredibly peaceful and remote. Dave was our guide and he was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire trip feel safe and enjoyable. Halfway through the trip we tied off along the river to take photos, warmed up with hot cocoa and cookies, and just take in the surroundings. Everything was extremely well organized, from the gear to the overall flow of the tour. If you’re looking for something different than a typical summer float, this winter trip is an absolute must. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable outdoor adventure. We will be back!! Thanks for an amazing experience and a great start to the New Year!
