Terrible Communication and very unprofessional. I came here a couple of weeks ago and my food came out cold. The waiters name was Ben, he told me if we left a Google review he would give us one free hour of duckpin bowling. Duck pin bowling is what we were doing. We left the Google reviews at we got the free passes. We actually got two free passes each so a total of four free passes because we did the Google review and because our food came out cold. Today I just tried to retrieve those free passes. I called the number to make a reservation, Was able to make a reservation same day told her about my free pass and she said no problem and booked me for duckpin bowling. When I arrived to the Cambria hotel in Detroit Michigan for the duck pin bowling in the basement, I was told that they do not do Free passes for the bowling. That they only do it for the golf simulator. The manager I was speaking to at the time name was Ron. He just pretty much looked at me and told me oh well. Sorry for the inconvenience. So either Ben lied, or got the information mixed up…either way. It was t my fault and I should NOT have left empty handed or only offered a % off something I didn’t book. Why would I pay for something I didn’t book all because YOUR employee misspoke.

A quick Google search told me this place was here (the building says Five Iron Golf on the marquee), so I try calling to see if I needed a reservation. No answer. I pop in and ask if mini bowling was available, and was told that it was with the price per person ($15) per hour. I paid and gave the second young lady our names to set up the lanes. She then walks us to our lanes, and says “A server will be over here shortly”. We were there for a full hour and not one server appeared. I waited and waited. Then, went to the restroom and there was no paper towel, the soap dispenser was out, and there was hair all in the sink. Although we had a good time, it could have been better. Too bad my son wants to do golf, not sure if I want to go back.

Bowling is nice the place is low-key. I bought 2 pizzas they came out on flatbread for 15 dollars each. That was my only complaint. Quiet nice lil spot. Eat before you go.

I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I mentioned that we were there for a birthday, no one offered any drink packages so we had to order drinks during our play time. I asked the blonde female bartender if they had deals on pitchers or buckets of beer she just said “yes” and i said “how much are they?” and asked for a pitcher. as we were not offered to purchase drinks before our game time started, it was my turn while ordering so a friend came to switch places with me to pay for the pitcher of beer. We had 6 people in our group, each person would have had about 3 beers, we asked if we could have 6 cups and we’d send someone else up to pay for another pitcher shortly. The bartender was really upset at this kept repeating there’s only 4 beers in a pitcher and eventually slammed two more cups down in front of us. She was rude and we did not want to interact with her anymore, so we did not purchase anymore pitchers of beer. Twice during our game we had technical difficulties, both times it took about 5 minutes to get an employee to come fix it and both times I communicated frustration at missing play time and no employee apologized or did anything to make it right. We ended with an awkward amount of time, not enough for a second game but probably would have if we had 10 more minutes left. This place feels like more a kids arcade than a place for adults to go.
