Bear Cave is an awesome place for a quick getaway. It is situated on the St. James River and has spots for fishing and a limited number of floating dock locations for boating as well. There is a small picturesque waterfall and is an all around beautiful location for a family gathering or for personal time away. However, don't fear because while this location seems remote and small it's just 15 minutes from bigger amenities so that you can indeed have any of those items you may have left at home. You won't regret this stay at all.
