- MWMegan WebbOct 13, 20255.0We stopped in without a reservation after our sailing trip was canceled last minute, and Mallory completely saved the day! She was incredibly professional and handled the morning rush with ease. Even though they were busy, she managed to get us two e-bikes for a half-day rental. This was our first time riding e-bikes, but after a quick and clear lesson from Mallory, we were on our way. Each bike came equipped with a fix-a-flat kit, tools, and a lock — everything you might need for a day in the park. The bikes were powerful and made exploring the hills of Acadia a breeze! We used the AllTrails app for navigation (highly recommend it!) and ended up riding about 33 miles from 10 AM to 2 PM, stopping at Jordan Pond and several other beautiful spots along the way. Overall, this experience was the highlight of our trip to Bar Harbor. Huge thanks to Mallory and the team for making it such a great day!

- HKHarris KeillarSep 13, 20254.0If one is able to cycle,then I definitely recommend Pedego. Cheery and helpful staff. The bikes are stable, but heavy so one needs the motor. The carriage trails are well marked and as long as one has the Acadia pass, it's easy to cycle to the top of Cadillac- no need to get a time slot. I'm not a speedy cyclist and got slightly lost in Ba Ha Ba, though only 22 minutes from summit to rental at sea level. 4 stars instead of 5 as motor took a second or two to engage when starting on a hill.

The rear brake didn’t work at all and every time you pedal if you put a little pressure on it, it made a loud clinking noise as if the whole thing was about to fall apart. When I returned it, I told the person. There was no apology no nothing. They didn’t put the bike aside either so I’m sure it’ll go out later today in the same condition. I highly recommend you find any other bike shop in Bar Harbor

Wished that the bikes had a water bottle holder to not have to dig into a bag for it. They did give free bungee cords to hold bag to back though! Fair price and timing.
