BIRTHDAY PARTY PLANNERS BEWARE - DO NOT BOOK! We recently booked my daughters 10th birthday at Lucky Strike. I called the event planning sales office and was lead to believe that with the package we purchased we would have (and I quote) "endless" pizza, chicken fingers, and drinks. Along with that, each attendee would get a $10 arcade card. And of course I assumed we would get quality customer service and attentiveness. HOWEVER we got NONE of the above. In our 2 hour time slot we were only given a total of 3 medium sized pizzas, which is nothing for nine 10 year olds and two 12 year olds. We didn't get served any chicken fingers until after an hour of the party had passed. Our drinks were filled once and then ran dry, and the only way they were refilled was by us racing around to find someone to help. I had to pull glasses and napkins from other parties because they never gave them to us, or gave us enough. In fact at one point the kids were so thirsty, and went so long without our pitcher of water being refilled, that I had to walk to the bar and ask for glasses of water (which they initially told me I would have to pay for), then shuttle them back to our area 3 at a time. We were never given our arcade cards, we never got the extra drink tickets the staff offered for the issues that kept recurring, and I only saw our dedicated server 1 time in our 2 hour window. Upon raising my concerns to the general manager the following day he offered me to come back at a discount, which we certainly didn't want given the terrible experience. He reminded me that the kids did have a good time and made sure to tell me to mention that in my google review - which I am now doing, but I reminded him that the kids didn't pay for the services they never received and in the context of the conversation, one thing had little to do with the other. The next day I spoke with the rep from the sales office who booked the party and she told me she misspoke and it wasn't "endless" food, it was "lightly refilled"...but that is not the deal I signed up for. A classic bait and switch. After all was said and done, the kids were constantly hungry, constantly thirsty, and we parents were constantly looking to flag down people to help. It was NOT at all close to what we were sold on, and the only thing we have been offered was a refund for the arcade gift cards that never arrived. We spent nearly $500, got terrible service, hardly got any of the food or drink that was promised, sent kids home still hungry, didn't get any arcade cards, and received very little concession from the general manager. And all they offered back was $42 for the arcade cards which never came, so of course we should get that back. I had expected them to admit their mistake and offer us a partial refund since the services and food/drinks they provided were far from what was promised and paid for. But even after speaking with the Senior Director of Sales for the East Coast, they refused to offer anything beyond $42 and a chance to come back and try them again. What a terrible experience. During and after. They were great when they were booking me and taking my money, but once they had my money, it all when to .... Avoid booking your party here.

Aside from the phenomenal and attentive staff (shout out to the DJ who is also awesome), Lucky Strike doesn't have much going for it. I appreciate the nod to safety with the metal detector. First, who ever decided that pins should be on strings is ruining the game of bowling. I understand that it eliminates error when resetting the pins, but they don't have the same action. You're never going to get a lucky fall anymore, which really hampers the joy. Also, the limited selection in weights is a travesty. If you cannot throw what is comfortable for you, it also takes away from the joy. I'll end the review on a high note - the lanes are pretty well maintained.

When we put in our reservation, we mentioned that there was a disability in our party. I have an inflammatory tissue disease and brought an herbal tea with me as supplementary help with my sudden flare up. After we were there for about ten minutes a staff member came up and told me that I was not allowed outside beverages. When I tried repeatedly to explain that it was for medical purposes only, I was loudly spoken over and not listened to by this staff member. I was forced to throw away it away and was in discomfort for the rest of the night.

My girlfriend and I both have disabilities that have to do with high amount of inflammation. And I wrote on the special requests when I was making our reservation that I have diagnosed disabilities and would need to bring our own fluids (me a very big water bottle because I get dehydrated easily from my disability and will get body inflammation. And her a tea because the has to sip on it through the whole day to help regulate her body from her regular pain. Long story short, we got there and nobody cared that we had our drinks. Didn’t even ask us at the front. Then this guy comes out of nowhere and asks everyone to not have drinks. I brought 5 friends with me, and 2 of them that don’t have disabilities obliged. The man walked away. When he saw that I still had my bottle and my gf had her tea he came back and smiling strangely like he was on a power trip, started saying everyone needs to get rid of their drinks. My girlfriend started to explain her disability, where he cut her off mid explanation multiple times and spoke over her saying that it didn’t matter. I tried to do the same to no success. He wouldn’t even hear us out… This place does not follow ADA standards. I do not recommend coming here, especially if you need small special accommodations. Also, my gf and I both had a ton of chronic pain during, and the following hours and day because of this… so avoidable.

Nice, clean establishment, friendly, helpful people... however, when bowling, it didnt matter how many pins you knocked down, the system would count at least one less and set an extra back up, nearly every bowl, afew times we got spares, knocked down allll the pins,, and the system would say we didnt and set pins back up. Disheartening especially for the kids when the system doesn't accurately represent your game/score. They said the charge was $107.00 and some change. But when I looked at my bank account this morning it says they deducted $183.00 from my account. And then the separate $48.00 for our drinks. Do not recommend going here.
