- BHBrian HFeb 28, 20235.0I just want to give a review and say how wonderful Alex Brunstrom was for my fitting recently. I had started but not completed a full bag fitting at the Timonium location the day before, ran out of time and energy before settling on a driver (never even got to fairway woods; Irons we were able to get a good fit though took awhile). Found out Pikesville had an opening the next afternoon, and hooked up with Alex. He was a total pro, unafraid to try numerous combinations (and I mean numerous!). Best of all he did NOT try to fix any of my swing flaws, but rather concentrated on finding the best woods for my swing as it is, warts and all. Even though I began to get a bit frustrated a couple times, he kept saying, "If it's not working, I just haven't done my job yet getting you the correct club!" We kept at it, and finally hit on a combo I know I'll be happy with, both looks and performance (just need some reps with that driver to really nail it on the screws!). Thanks so much for your time and efforts, Alex. Very much appreciated, and as I already told you over the phone, any of our friends want a referral for a fitter, you are it!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
