We also provide club rentals and USGA Handicap services – just ask for details in the Golf Shop. Bogey’s Grill is a full service bar with all of your favorite drinks and food. Relax while watching sports on one of our five flat screen TVs, or grab a seat and have a drink on our new covered patio. Compass Pointe has two large event pavilions with seating up to 300 just adjacent to the clubhouse. Perfect for golf leagues & outings.

The conditions are solid, and I like that they have both the North and South courses on the same property, even though I always mix up which is which. Both play well, but one of them is definitely tighter off the tee and a bit more challenging. The greens roll about the same on both layouts; speed and pace are everything if you want to score. Overall, I’d rate both courses a strong 4 out of 5. They take good care of the grounds, the practice range is solid, and the staff is friendly and on point. The place runs like a well-oiled machine. The $80 fee is a little up there, but honestly, it’s worth it. I’d rank Compass Pointe above most courses in the area. It’s on par with The Woodlands in Baltimore and, for value and price point, I think it’s better than Lake Presidential. For a public course, it’s a very solid choice.

Course in very good shape except just a couple tee boxes and a few greens had exceptional number of divots which is not the course fault, but the fault of the inexperienced but mostly the unrespectable lazy golfer that doesn’t deserve the opportunity to play.
