Located in Pasadena, MD, Compass Pointe is home to 36 holes of championship golf. The Golf Shop is fully stocked with a wide selection of the latest golf equipment & apparel at a competitive price. Our professional staff is there to assist you with your purchases and can arrange special merchandise orders. We also provide club rentals and USGA Handicap services – just ask for details in the Golf Shop. Bogey’s Grill is a full service bar with all of your favorite drinks and food. Relax while watching sports on one of our five flat screen TVs, or grab a seat and have a drink on our new covered patio.     Compass Pointe is a really nice course. The conditions are solid, and I like that they have both the North and South courses on the same property, even though I always mix up which is which. Both play well, but one of them is definitely tighter off the tee and a bit more challenging. The greens roll about the same on both layouts; speed and pace are everything if you want to score. Overall, I’d rate both courses a strong 4 out of 5. They take good care of the grounds, the practice range is solid, and the staff is friendly and on point. The place runs like a well-oiled machine. The $80 fee is a little up there, but honestly, it’s worth it. I’d rank Compass Pointe above most courses in the area. It’s on par with The Woodlands in Baltimore and, for value and price point, I think it’s better than Lake Presidential. For a public course, it’s a very solid choice.

    Compared to last year, the golf course conditions were excellent. We played the North East course, and I was surprised at how good this course was... It was very well maintained, with almost no bugs, and the staff were extremely friendly.
