We do enjoy it, but this time our bowling lane was adjacent to a kids’ birthday party, which is totally fine, but these people had zero respect. They were sitting on our couch, putting drinks on our table, and the kids were running around our table and roughhousing. They nearly knocked over our drinks, and they spilled a glass of their water on it and didn’t even bother to even acknowledge it- it was as if WE were guests at their birthday. They must have crammed 10 people in there, if not more. Shame on these parents for taking advantage, and for their families’ lack of basic manners. They clearly needed to reserve both lanes for their party. We decided not to say anything, not to ruin the time for their children, and to avoid awkwardness. Lucky Strike should have a policy that protects themselves from being taken advantage of in this way, and that preserves a comfortable experience for their patrons.
