  Our son started at Charm City MMA when he was just three years old in the Little Ninjas program, and from the very beginning, it felt like more than just an activity. He’s also participated in the summer camp and aftercare program, and each experience has helped shape him into a more confident, disciplined, and socially aware child What truly sets Charm City MMA apart is the heart behind it. This place is a true partner to the community and a genuine third place for children; a safe space beyond home and school where kids are seen, supported, and encouraged to grow. In a world where social media replaces real connection, where parents don’t always feel safe letting kids play freely outside, and where meaningful peer interaction is harder to come by, Charm City MMA fills a gap that so many families feel deeply. Here, kids aren’t just learning martial arts. They’re learning how to communicate, respect others, manage emotions, and build real relationships. The sense of belonging is real. The work Joe and Nijah are doing comes from a place of care, purpose, and commitment, and it shows in every child who walks through the door. At this point, Charm City MMA isn’t just something our son attends; it’s part of our family. And for that, we are endlessly grateful

  This has been a transformative experience for our son! Each of the coaches we’ve interacted with has been truly supportive and committed to the creed, which they take very seriously! Can’t say enough good things. We are lucky to have CCMMA in the city!

  My son just shared the end of summer camp videos and I was so impressed with the choreographed routine they did. More importantly, I could see how much my grandson has progressed since his last belt test. He earned three stripes that day. He has taken his training to heart. He even wants to own his own Martial Arts academy some day. When Joe asked Ram what would he do differently, he emphatically said, Nothing!! Thank you for making my grandson a more confident, more respectful, more courteous and more caring individual. You build up bodies, but you start by building character. I know Ramsey has awesome parents but it makes me happy to know he has the influence of caring coaches and mentors as well. Charm City MMA is the BEST!   Great coaches Nyjah and Joseph!! Great for kids after school activity and also adults. They have separate classes for kids and adults. Adults can join at all age and all level, no experienced needed and the coaches will work with you, help you modify workouts to fit you. Great motivators and so down to earth coaches!!
