I'm about a year into learning golf, and Varun is the 3rd person I've seen for lessons because the first two at other reputable places just weren't clicking for me. I got the 5 lesson package and I have to say it's been a game changer. I came in with an unpredictable two way miss on my irons and a banana slice on my driver. I was shooting around 55 for 9 holes. I joke with Varun that every time I see him I add 10 yards to my 7 iron. I came in with an over the top swing that was carrying 165 yards on a good hit, now I'm carrying 180+, and my misses are way way tighter and more predictable. Driver is a going 265+ with a baby draw. Varun will break down your swing on video, and does a great job of identifying what flaws to tackle first, and giving very simple drills to address the flaws. Couldn't have asked for more really. I've now broken 100 twice for 18, and shot a 44 for 9 holes on the back half of one of those.

He doesn't give you too much to think about at once, but leads you through a process. When what he was telling me didn't sync in he tried other approaches until something clicked. He also has outside lessons when the weather turns in the Spring. I did a short game, putting, and a 9 hole game management lesson with him. They were invaluable since you can only do so much off the inside mats. I would highly recommend him for whatever challenges you golf game has. He has greatly improved my game.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
