From the moment you enter, to the time you leave, Kim the General Manager and her entire host team make you feel like you are family. The scenic pond has a small white beach overlooking the water where at no charge, kayaks and boats may be used. There are free standing wood burning fireplaces on the beach for your serene relaxation. The recreation hall, lounge and store depict a log cabin atmosphere. Activities run varied and engaging for all ages. The grounds are very well maintained which allows for bocce ball, volley ball, basketball and yes, a no-fee remote control car course. Local attractions include the famous Old Sturbridge Village, farmers markets, antique/ flea market, bike trails,state and army Corp of Engineer’s Resevoir/dam area, historical sites, museums and so much more. Local affordable eateries range from mom and a pop places to national chain restaurants. Give Thousand Trails a try and see for yourself why you feel “at home” while patronizing this bucolic environment of beauty and energizing activities.

Everyone we interacted with was top notch. Typically in our travels to camp sites we run into employees that are tired or burnt out. Not here. They were warm and inviting. Clean bathrooms, hot showers, great amenities and a great trip.
