- WGW GSep 6, 20245.0Golftec lessons are the best way to learn and improve not just your swing but, also, your enjoyment of the game. You will see your swing from 2 angles and with your instructor compare it to a pro swing. Your instructor will guide you to an improved swing path. When you practice on your own at Golftec you can then watch your swing evolve. The slow motion video playback is helpful confirming you are corrrecting a problem. Many times you will feel you are doing something right and video shows not so good. Unfortunately most people need a series of lessons to learn a satisfying swing so yes you will be encourage to buy a package. It may feel like a hard sell. Both the Naples FL. and Needham MA centers are excellent. Matt Rines, my instructor in Needham, is terrific. My Naples instructor was also excellent but has moved on.

The videos they capture show incredibly insightful data and being able to review it on-demand, not only with the pro but on my own time, is a huge help and differentiates GolfTec from most typical pro's. GolfTec Needham is a convenient location as well -- just outside of Boston, right off the highway. I will certainly be back.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
