"Won't talk numbers over the phone" when I simply asked what they are buying 1oz silver maples at. Could've easily given me a percentage or told me what they've recently acquired maples for, and make it known the price may obviously vary depending on when I get down there vs. Market. I was planning on spending a decent amount of money there as I'm looking for a new coin shop but but they won't get my buisness. Check out Sterling Rare coin if you're looking for great customer service. Father and Son shop with decades of knowledge.

I have been meaning to give a review for this awesome shop for a while now. Start off by saying how lucky Gardner is to have a business like this, and to have access to a resident expert in coins and collectibles. The shop is an eclectic place - lots of merch everywhere, organized in a sort of Einstein method.
The team do a good job and usually have a lot going on. But they aren’t saccharine in their interactions. In a world that is overly sensitive and way too feelings based, these guys will tell it like it is. In a real sense that is what you want from a numismatist. And truly, the owner/operator of this place is one of the most knowledgeable coin guys I have met in my 30 years of collecting. But what too often happens is you have people who know next to nothing about coins come in and act like they’re experts because they saw something on the internet. The best approach is to approach an expert with Respect and Humility. “Hey I don’t know about this, but could you give me some pointers/lessons”? That attitude wins the day in any enterprise, and especially in a coin shop.
People who are harshing on them on these reviews for not sufficiently kissing their hind quarters should take a chill pill. Or possibly shop elsewhere. Coin and bullion evaluation and exchange is as real as it gets, and is a Privilege not a Right. Many coin shops around the world have gone away, and I try to remember how fortunate we are to be Free in this Country (still) to get to do this.
Also whenever I go into GCC I see it as an opportunity to relax and let some others go first. To take a break from the hectic world outside…to pet Ricco…and To take in what is a unique collection, presented in a unique way. Soon enough all the brick & mortar shops will be gone and all we’ll have left are Amazons and Walmarts…and we will long for Mom & Pop Shops like this.
Keep up the good honest work guys! 👍🏼❤️🇺🇸

I was just out for a walk and window shopping when I found this place. I wouldn't say it's messy just a bit cluttered. Both the older gentlemen and his daughter were helpful in answering my questions and I felt at ease while I looked around. I found a 1964 quarter
(my birth year). That I just had to get. This place reminded me of the Mom and Pop shops that I grew up with back in the day and I will definitely be going back.
Thanks for being real !
