  By far the best run pure hockey in the state. It boils down to the employees who have endless patience and are very skilled and knowledgeable. I actually get better profiles and sharpens here despite all pure hockeys utilizing the same automated equipment these days (perhaps this crew is great at honing and taking their time with the blades). Thanks for everything guys!

  The equipment was pretty basis, me and my younger sister went there to buy hockey pants. I asked a young gentleman to come help us out, he quickly gave me a pair of pants to try on. Said he’d go to the back to find me another pair that would be better for me. I was shocked when he left to go help another customer, this made me feel targeted being a colored individual. This employee never came back to help me and after about 30 minutes it was clear that I was getting agitated so he sent his colleague over to me, named Ben. I told Ben what was wrong with the pants and he said he’d go to the back to find an improved pair. But Ben did the same thing as the previous employee, went to start helping another customer. After 20 minutes of waiting , out of anger I grabbed a random pair of pant, bought them and left. Would never come again.

  I brought my 6 year old daughter to get fit for Bruins learn to play. Chris, college student at UMASS Boston, couldn’t have been more helpful. Wildly impressed with his ability to make my daughter feel comfortable about playing. Thanks Chris!
