Last time I was in here their loss prevention dork repositioned himself so he could watch me shop. Did not appreciate being treated like a suspect in a store I’ve spent so much money in.

Not all good REI. 1) Very inconvenient location. Parking on site costs $12, and thats after validation. 2) They are now “bagless”, which is also inconvenient unless buying something that can be used as a bag. 3) Poor stock. Want to try something on? Its more reliable to buy online, ship it to the store, and return it there if it doesnt work. 4) Unhelpful staff. Generally do not have the outdoors experience to answer questions without looking up the item description on their phone and reading it to you. Overall a reliably frustrating and difficult experience with this REI.

I ordered a T shirt online and there is a scratch in front of it. It was tiny. But still visible. I brought it back to the store to return it and pointed out to the cashiers. They gave me the feeling that I shouldn't make a fuzz about the small imperfection.

I was looking for hiking boots and Malcolm was extraordinary. He asked pertinent questions and was extremely thoughtful in his advice and suggestions. I'm thrilled with my purchase and it's thanks to Malcolm!

Left feeling very upset. The last time I came to the store parking was free with a validated ticket. This time I had to pay $12 dollars. I feel robbed and would have gone to the Framingham or Reading location if I had known this before hand. Not worth paying to park at a store. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
