Night started out fine. The bar staff on the arcade floor was wonderful. We asked for a bowl thingy and they told us about a pitcher offer that seemed like a good deal. Its great when staff helps out by letting you know things like that.
We wanted to play so one of my friends tried to fill the card but it didnt work but another friends arcade card worked so we played with that one and assumed the other charge on our arcade card just hadnt gone through. When we tried to recharge our arcade card another charge didnt go through, so we checked our banks and the original (50$) and the new charge (30$) had been charged to the credit card so we asked for support. The people at cheeky monkey (floor 1) sent us to lucky strike (floor 3) bc its their card (fair) so we went up. The lucky stricke people called the manager. All good as of now, a little annoying cause we were losing playtime but whatever, things happen we're okay with it.
Here is where the problems start. We are approached by an angry man who just says "come here i have three floors to manage i dont have all day for this" which is incredibly disrespectful especially for a manager who is supposed to have people skills. Mind you we had been waiting for a few minutes so god forbid we took 5 seconds to notice he was the manager. We tell him the issue, he brings us down to the second level to test the card on one of the recharge machines. The card said it has credits but when tested on the games it didnt work, but he didnt even test it on the games (bruh) and tried to leave but we called him back because he solved nothing (no anything else i can help with or whatever, rookie) and told him it didnt work. He told us it had credits so we said okay but we bet it wont work on the machines (not a serious bet just the way you say oh i bet blah sometimes) so he got all up in our faces and said "oh you want to bet okay how much money you got? It has to be way more than 50-80$ because thats whats on the card and i got three kids to feed" blah blah
We told him to stop being rude and fix the problem for us because the card wasnt working and he stormed off for a bit
He returned and gave us a card with 45$ dollars on it (no where near the 80$ we paid) and told us to watch ourselves ??? Bro is all up in our face being disrespectful
Whatever. We go try to play, the card he gave us doesnt work either
0/10 service from that one manager.
I asked another manager for his name, it might be chris (idk spelling) but that could be a fake name so its whoever was manager Nov 9 2025, has a beard, a little overweight, apparently has three kids. He should be fired or at least not working a role where he deals with people directly because hes too pissy for it
If you have cameras it was around 1 am nov 9 idk
Idk if he works for cheeky monkey or lucky strike but terrible person to be the go to for dealing with paying customers. Bro shouldve just tested the card on a game idk why he made such a big deal out of it and wouldnt believe us

Cool spot by really really expensive. 3 adults and 1 kid...3 orders of cheeseburgers and fries, one order of chicken fingers and fries, 2 games it bowling each and a bill that was over $250. Insane. Tried a crazy expensive milkshake and it was as if they crumbled some cookies into luke warm skim milk. Too hip for its own good. I guess it's cool, but not worth it

The staff is great, but getting the manager takes about 30 min of your life when you can be playing games. They do not take you seriously, and I’ve wasted about two hours of my life trying to get extra tickets when the machine took it. I recommend the place itself but the staff sucks . But I do love the place overall. If you want a cheap arcade then this is your place. So good, fun vibes. But the staff is not good .

DO NOT book a bowling party reservation here. They add on crazy fees ($100s extra on top of bowling), and once they charge your card customer service is nonexistent. On the day of the event we had someone who couldn't join that I had prepaid for - staff told me to call sales and I'd get a refund for that person. Sales WAS NASTY in the email, refusing to honor the refund I was told I'd get and offering no consolation. I guess they call their team "sales", instead of "customer support" because it's about swiping your card, not giving you a good experience. They will steal money that's not theirs to have and treat you horribly in the process. Disgusted.
