  Great location and it was a real opportunity for them to showcase what they could offer for a boutique climbing gym. Instead their setting schedule is sporadic at best, the walls could have far more dense setting, water fountain or bathrooms are always broken, the treadmills feel like they're from the 80s, the slab wall is not only a waste of space that could've been used for a tension board but it's a great way to get injured. The kicker is the excuse for the lack of setting is that there are people who do genuinely want to set and contribute but management doesn't allow for whatever reason. A $34 day pass is laughable. Maybe they'll realize the squandered opportunity but feels like this gym is a month away from closing. A dang shame.

  It's fairly small but does make good use of the space. The routes are well thought out and interesting. Day passes are expensive, even for a city.

  A small bouldering location. Great staff, walls are set well, highly recommended.

  Love the new North End location of Central Rock. Main positives: - Very friendly and attentive staff - Great location and super accessible (North Station) - Nice balance of climbing grades - Routes are frequently reset (1/4 weekly) The gym is also very clean. There's free chalk and a small area that incl. weights and a bench for regular workout. The only shortcoming is that it is a little small compared to other bouldering-only gyms, but given all the main positives I mentioned above, it's absolutely worth it and has become one of my favorite Central Rock gyms.
