Played the Wildcat course today (11/14/25) . Gotta say our group was disappointed with the condition of the course. Maintenance at this facility seems to be focused on the Big Blue course leaving Wildcat very neglected. The fairways were decent considering the bermuda grass had already gone dormant for winter. Areas around the green needed mowing very badly. Roughs were very inconsistent, some really high and thick others pretty "clumpy" with bare spots. The bunkers were unplayable. Greens were also inconsistent in terms of the speed but were in pretty good shape overall. This course could be top notch if proper attention was given to the maintenance. The layout and location are among the best in central Kentucky. No housing developments around the course make it a terrific natural setting. It will likely be quite a while before I go back there though.

Absolutely beautiful course. A nice balance of fun yet challenging holes. Wish the practice greens had more of some short grass to practice chipping. Fall rates are extremely reasonable.
