I told him about the issues I was having with the poles and he showed me a thing or two about how they work that may help with the issue, but had no problem with my choice to return them. I had a great conversation with him regarding potential replacement options. The breadth of his knowledge on the subject blew me away. I've never had a negative experience at this store. They have a great team and their passion for the things they sell and how they can improve your life experience is unsurpassed.

Of the few things they had in stock, I found them better priced and better made at Cabellas and Academy with their respective brands. Beyond that, the staff stayed huddled together talking in groups instead of helping the few customers present. Not surprised at all that every store around was busy while REI's parking lot was almost empty. I won't be returning.
