His coaching, accountability, and simple drills have completely changed how I play on the course—and it feels like it’s actually sticking. Best instruction, hands down so far.
- JPJoseph PotestaNov 24, 20245.0Started golfing in July of 2024, so only a few months and because of my attitude and demeanor I wanted to be competitive quickly to beat my buddies so I checked out Golf-Tec. Immediately bought a package of 10 lessons and was assigned Chris Compton as my golf coach. Chris is a bad ass dude, always willing to work with my hectic schedule, always answers my questions hell he’s a guys guy. Guess what, a couple weeks ago I won my first 9 hole par 3 against my buddy. THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!! I would recommend Chris and Golftec even if you are looking to improve your game. Every time I step up to the ball I hear Chris’ instructions and it keeps me in the game. 5 star service for sure. The one thing golf has given me is a hobby and a release from my ridiculous golf schedule. Golftec is a must if you are wanting lessons and they have an awesome facility. Thank you again.
- MSMike StephensonFeb 23, 20175.0Jim has been a wonderful coach! I have only had my swing analysis and 3 lessons. The combination of Jim's skills and the technology of GolfTec have been wonderful. Because my lessons have been over the winter months, I have had to rely on Jim's homework videos and practice time when I can get to the GolfTec facility. Although my swing has a ways to go, Jim has been able to identify a key change needed in my left shoulder "tilt" that has dramatically altered my back swing and when I can do as instructed my slice is gone! This has corrected a problem that several other golf instructors have all identified, but none were able to help me find the "cure" to my problem. I am so pleased with what Jim has done that my brother has signed up for a swing analysis and my son is going to get lessons at the local GolfTech in his home town. - DCDwight ChernishJan 27, 20175.0I've worked with Jim Morse for a number of years and have been able to constantly improve my golf game to the point that I have beat my age lowered my handicap to below 10 when I had been more like a 18. I have had a club fitting which was very informative and indicated that I didn't need to make any big changes to my clubs.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
