- DSDavid StonehouseMar 31, 20263.0Scheduled an initial swing analysis. I had a phone call the day prior to the swing analysis which I felt was a great offering. Unfortunately, the call wasn’t good. I didn’t feel like the person I was speaking with really understood what I wanted from a coach, and honestly, sounded like he didn’t have much experience. My interaction felt less like a chance to discuss goals and more like I was being setup to buy more lessons. By the end of the call I didn’t feel like this place was a good match for me and canceled my swing analysis while on the phone.

As a newbie, I was right at home and loved the practice sessions where i could see just how bad my shots were and work on correcting them. It got even better when I was with my coach, Ryan, who is also the owner. He is extremely knowledgeable, very easy going and doesn’t make you feel like you need to give up the game. On the contrary, he has raised my enthusiasm for the game. The whole team at Golftec were very approachable and friendly and will just start up a conversation when you walk in or while you are setting up or just check to see if everything is going well. I absolutely love the experience. I have improved my game and had a great time doing it.

The monthly packages come with 90 minutes of practice sessions each week. I wish I had started my journey here!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
