Matt knew his stuff, and we dialed in on a Mizuno set. Since getting the irons, my game has gone to another level, and I’m consistently shooting in the 80s now (was a 90s/low 100s golfer before). I couldn’t be happier with my experience/purchase, and I’ll happily go back here for other clubs in the future!

- RMRobert MoylanDec 7, 20151.0Golftec seems to be about the sales. I wasn't impressed with the center manager at all. James was veryy abrasive. Cole,Ryan,and John Slaton are solid teaching professionals and great guys. But at the end of the day those guys are wasting their time and careers at golftec, IMHO. Why? Low pay and golf is an outdoor sport. Video is a small aspect of being a good golfer. But those guys ,who are excellent players would likely be better coaches in an inside and outside facility. You can't teach much chipping, bunker and putting indoors at that place. Plus,you can't see ball flight and repetitive motion on a simulator is not good for joints. The real problem with golftec is they want you to change your swing weekly without ever seeing you outside. My guess is there are over 30 to 40 golftec pros in Illinois alone. But how come you never see any of those guys on the leaderboard of the Illinois Open or any local pro events? They aren't good enough. Golftec is a graveyard where good pros die, figuratively speaking.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
