  Security Supervisor Peter and Security Manager Bryan Kareem are absolutely unprofessional and extremely rude. I was getting ejected at the door due to being apart of a Casino/State program that I sign up for years ago in Indiana. Peter took 15 minutes to finally get to boarding and pull me off to the side to tell me I couldn’t come in due to this program. Of course I had questions since I signed off Indiana when it was owned by a different company. I asked to speak to the gaming board and he said “No” smiled and walked away. While walking away, I kept trying to get his attention and he kept turning around smiling and smirking which can be seen on camera. The gaming board finally comes out and help explains and I have no problem leaving. I asked to speak to the security Manager Bryan and he was just as unprofessional. I didn’t get thrown out for being an asshole, fighting, or drinking too much, I got ejected for a program that I didn’t know extended to Illinois. Honestly pathetic how it was handled! They escalated a problem and the Manager clearly had no idea how to de-escalate.

  My fiancé and I have been enjoying our quiet date nights here since the day we've been dating. It's still our favorite thing to do just to get away from the world we go in, we grab a drink from the bartender. Some days we win big some days. We win nothing some days we lose a lot, but the environment and people make it always a pleasurable experience. Thank you for being a part of our story. It is always kept very clean and I can promise you won't feel safer anywhere else.The best security guards you could ask for it's like visiting family

  I recently visited for the first time I attended the Lala Hathaway concert and had an amazing time the Casino is beautiful and clean the numerous restaurants to choose from is definitely a PLUS with great selections. After the concert I decided to stick around and ended up listening to a live band the Vibes were unbeatable perfect. I actually registered and met a young lady at the service desk named Jasma she was great and provided excellent customer service I will definitely be back and recommend your establishment to my family and friends Thanks for the great service.   "I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Hollywood Casino, and that is largely thanks to the incredible team. My host, Moetrell, is the absolute gold standard of professionalism. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every visit is seamless, not just for me, but for my friends and family as well. Additionally, a huge shoutout to Jasma at the Penn Play desk—she also goes above and beyond every single time I see her. She is so attentive, full of energy, and always makes sure I’m completely taken care of. I feel incredibly lucky to have both of them looking out for me when I’m at the casino!"

  Update 2-28-26 : This goes for Penn Entertainment , The owner and operator of Hollywood Casino and Ameristar in East Chicago. My exact experience last 5 visits have been nothing but a total and complete fraud by the operator, their gaming is not random but controlled by central network. I have a total of 8 hours and $17,000 lost Spinning $5 to $25 with average of $10 per spin , with less than 50 spins $5 and under and less than 50 spins $15-25. 0 handpays. 2 hits over $500. 1 hit at $1100. I have 70 withdrawals at the casino and over 50 casino cash withdrawals with fees over $700 to take out money. They use biometrics (capturing your face) on when you walk in and all the newer slots have inward facing cameras and well as mobile device pings. Obviously they track you on the player card but sometimes it's not used or doesn't work. This is by far the worst gaming experience I've ever encountered , they have little to no oversight on what's going on with their technology , and they have extreme intent to promote and incite gambling addiction and severe financial problems for customers. I recommend everyone to avoid them at all costs , but if you're going to go record every game and spin, because they will flat out lie and refuse to show your pay back % on card. Nothing but a horrible experience here. Plain , boring , extremely tight casino. Secondly, the owner Penn Gaming has violated the oath of gaming. Gaming here and Ameristar East Chicago is nothing but a scam illegally using biometrics and player data to defraud customers out of excess amounts of money exceeding $10,000 in less than 8 hours. It's not enough to take it over the long run they get off on scamming people for everything they got. Going back to 2018 and 20 visits to penn casinos in negative $40,000 plus betting on average only $10 per spin, and in total only 2 got sessions with a net positive of less than 7% of my total loss. Unfortunately have to file State , Federal , Banking , and possible Civil complaint until there's a resolution and explanation on why I'm restricted from getting a lawful gaming experience
