Justin and his team are levels above when it comes to hospitality and making our group comfortable with the different games and teaching ways to track your swing and technique. I HIGHLY recommend this place for a casual outing with friends or to dial in your golf game to get it to the next level. If golf isn’t your thing, you can always perfect your skills on ping pong, bowling or billiards to pass the time.

Good experience! This isn’t my first time and Maya was definitely awesome and took care of us in every way possible. 1 complain I do have is. You guys need to bring back those iPads where you can order food/drinks yourself without any confusion! Please bring those back! It’s was very convenient

Don’t go here. We were served our food and never checked on for refills or anything. No simulation of different grasses like the Lincoln Park location. Servers were rude. We had to close our selves out after finishing. Place is dingy and the workers have a negative vibe

Five Iron Golf in River North is an absolute gem in the heart of Chicago! This spot is the perfect blend of high-tech fun, great vibes, and top-notch service—whether you're a serious golfer looking to dial in your swing or just want a cool night out with friends. The state-of-the-art Trackman simulators are incredible, with crystal-clear visuals, realistic courses from around the world, and accurate feedback that makes every shot feel authentic. We had a blast playing virtual rounds, trying out fun games, and even checking out the duckpin bowling lanes for a change of pace. The full bar and food menu kept us fueled—everything from solid bites to craft cocktails hit the spot. What really elevated the experience, though, was the outstanding staff. **Mariah** was an absolute rockstar—super welcoming, knowledgeable, and made sure our group felt right at home from the moment we walked in. **Sachi** brought such great energy and helped us navigate the tech seamlessly, turning what could have been a confusing setup into pure enjoyment. And **Jakima** was phenomenal, keeping everything running smoothly with a smile and genuine enthusiasm that made the whole night feel special. Hidden away but totally worth finding, Five Iron River North is hands-down one of the best entertainment spots in the city. If you're in Chicago, book a bay here—you won't regret it. 10/10, we'll be back soon! ⛳🍻

First time visit. The level of service was not up to the same level I've experienced at other indoor golf venues. There was no one at the check-in desk making it unclear if you were meant to wait or go up to the bar. No server came around after we were set up so I went up to the bar with three bartenders who were grouped together chatting and still waited about five minutes to get served. A server finally came to the booth and took our order for food and drink refills but forgot to out the drink orders in after the pizza was delivered. Overall, not sure if I'll be back or if I do, it may not be to this one. This felt very much like it was more frat dive bar than golf experience. Not the expectation I had and not what I've experienced at more elevated indoor golf venues.
