  My daughter and I booked with Rawhide for my Birthday/ annual mother-daughter/ Spring Break trip and it by far has been our best experience. It was my kiddo’s first time and Earl was amazing! She not only had the best time, but she learned a ton. That, I wasn’t expecting. Earl made this a special memory for the two of us and we will definitely be back. (Sorry, Earl 😂)

  Our family of eight had an absolutely awesome time on our Rawhide River trip. Four grandparents, two parents and two pre teens. Clay was our guide but the other two guides were also very informational. Though it was the coldest day of summer in Idaho the day we were on the river, it was very enjoyable. Clay entertained all of us from our youngest rafter at 10 years old to our oldest in his 70's. We had all levels of experience in our raft and he placed us accordingly. The snacks and lunch were way above average. Homemade cookies and granola bars at one stop. Lunch cooked hot at another stop. The office staff was the best. We stayed and talked to her while the team put the rafts away and cleaned up the snacks and lunch things on returning to the office. Everyone was so laid back, but professional. They outfitted us with life vest and made sure they were on correctly every time we started back on the river. If Idaho wasn't so far away from Alabama we would definitely return every summer!   Me, my son, and my oldest friend met his son Nathan at the launch. Steelhead is still the fish of a thousand casts but we managed to catch a few trout. Nathan was very professional and handle the boat like he has been doing it this whole life. We will definitely come back. Rawhide is definitely a class act.

  We had an awesome time on the river! Our guides were knowledgeable, personable and fun. We pulled up for lunch in a beautiful setting and it was delicious. I enjoyed seeing and learning about the old mine and the history of the area. This was a great value for the amount of time and quality of fun we had. Highly recommend!
