- KFKaylyn FranksSep 9, 20255.0My first visit to GolfTec was for a swing evaluation with Chad Rutz. The technology used to record and analyze my swing was very detailed providing immediate feedback. Then seeing a side by side comparison to a Pro golfer, convinced me to purchase a lesson/practice package. Chad is an awesome coach. He is very knowledgeable about the precision of the golf swing, provides positive and honest feedback. Being able to practice up to 90 minutes after the lesson helps create new pathways in my brain for ultimate success.

I got fit for clubs at another Golftec location less than a year ago before moving to this area and I have been having issues with the clubs. I brought them into Chad and he took me through the whole fitting process again at no charge to resolve the issue. He contacted his rep right away to replace my set with different shafts and adjusted specs. He is super knowledgeable and went above and beyond for me when he did not have to. I highly recommend Chad for anyone looking to improve their game.

I decided to give it a shot before giving up the game of golf. Ben methodically worked with me to improve my game. I now shoot in the low to mid 80’s and have a single digit handicap for the first time. Ben doesn’t give me too much to think about. Seeing video of what we are working on has been extremely helpful. Ben also fit me for a new set of irons, which I love. I would recommend Ben and his team to anyone who wants to improve and enjoy golf.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
