If I could a 0 I would. I have been in not once or twice but multiple times. The workers are INCREDIBLY rude. They were purposely not helpful and have really put me off my RC hobby.
Let me explain more; For some of us buying a Traxxas or Arrma RC car is not in the budget (400-1000 dollars based on the model car) . I have a 1/16 RC car I spent 250 on. It’s runs great no complaints with the car with the exception that working/tinking can be challenging (I knew this when I bought the car but it’s what I could afford at the time). I went in not expecting much, simply asking if I could upgrade parts. One guy literally refused to look at my car. I was discouraged went home and after much research bought the upgraded ESC I needed. It didn’t come with the male adaptor that plugs into my battery. So I went back (mistake) and asked if they sold the part. The same guy again wouldn’t look at my car in hand and said no they didn’t have them in stock, so I asked if I could order it. Again was flatly told “no” and they only order those in mass quantities when they are out. So I went back two weeks later. Got the exact same answer. So I moved on past the ESC and started thinking simpler upgrades. I went back a third time and asked if they had 1/16 tires. Without getting off his phone I was told to look around the store and “what they got is what they got”. I found two tires that I knew would work for my car and after much difficulty and persuasion they said they would order the the tires for me. This was about 4 months ago and still no luck. So a few weeks I went back a fourth time, this time to simply work on aesthetics for my car. I asked if they had decals/or painting templates for my cars shell. He looked at me like I was the most annoying person on the planet and flatly said “no”. After again wondering the store like a lost puppy what did I find? Decals and painting templates that worked for my shell. I have never been rude to them, never complained about customer service, never was a “Karen” even tried joking with them that for all the research and parts I bought online that didn’t work for my car I would have been better off spending the money up front for a Traxxis or Arrma that have a track record of being very user friendly for modifications. Again got a look like I was an idiot. I want to also note I am not a some teenager I’m 34 and fell down a rabbit hole after buying my nephew an RC car last October for his Christmas gift.
TL;DR customer service is garbage. If you know what you’re looking for they might have it. Cool store with great stuff but won’t go back due to the obvious fact they don’t want my business.
This is the store just off Hickman that has the race track attached. The owner is now saying this never happened. 😂 nope really did. And for reference anyone can look at my track record for reviews. I have never left a one star review. The fact that he gas lights saying this never happened speaks for itself.
