  I did the golf cart tour with Andrew and some friends who were visiting on Kauai. It was beautiful, fun, and easy. Andrew was the best! My friends said this was their favorite excursion!

  Why choose the Princeville Makai Golf Club? Is it because the course is Ranked multiple times the #1 “Best Course You Can Play in Hawaii” by Golfweek? There’s something more than golfing…maybe it’s just sitting in the lounges on the deck overlooking Hanalei Bay with some of the best coffee on Kauai or a Mai Tai… Why will we always love hanging out there? Yes, the pickleball several times a week with such fun friends is great. Yes, it’s how one of us just happened to talk about how a few wheels needed to be ordered for the pickleball court squeegees with Eric in the office (a hero whose smile and friendliness truly lifts us up)...and within days, two new squeegees were onsite, and wheel upgrades on the others were in place:) Excellent…but what is really amazing there? It’s the people at the Princeville Makai Golf Club, like Eric. We’ll tell you a secret. Just behind the golf shop, there are angels there…! These angels hang out to greet you with smiles and make the coffee, breakfast burritos, wraps and drinks. The angels are…Franny and Malou, who you can hear dancing in the back, and their laughs are like a dream…and Paulina, who is blessed with surprising talents (…and who’s an acclaimed artist of sculptures:) Visit heaven on the North Shore of Kauai, with Hanalei Bay and Mountain views…and be given gifts by heroes and angels…

From the moment you arrive, the setting is breathtaking—lush fairways carved through tropical landscape, dramatic cliffs, and constant views of the Pacific that make you stop and just take it all in. Every hole feels thoughtfully designed and memorable. The course challenges you in all the right ways, but it’s also incredibly fun to play. Whether you’re navigating the rolling fairways or lining up a putt with the ocean in the background, it’s one of those rounds where you constantly catch yourself smiling and saying, “This place is ridiculous.” The conditioning of the course is top-notch. Fairways are pristine, greens roll beautifully, and the entire property is clearly maintained with incredible care. The signature oceanfront holes are spectacular—some of the most stunning golf views you’ll find anywhere in the world. The staff and overall experience make it even better. Everyone is welcoming, professional, and genuinely seems proud of the course, which adds to the vibe of the day. Princeville Makai isn’t just a great golf course—it’s an unforgettable experience.
